What im watching tonight Sunday April 1st

Posted: April 1, 2012 by Aaron M Zaffuto in The Killing

Tonight kicks off season 2 AMC’s “The Killing”  at 8/7c along with the 2nd episode of “Mad Men”

“The Killing” is a show that up until two months ago I had little knowledge about. In that time I have since watched season 1 from Netflix and im very impressed with show. The show is very well acted and written.

Reading alot about the backlash from some fans over Rosie’s killer not being revealed in the finale and the story’s pace being too slow. I thought it was perfectly paced, each episode progressing just a single day allowed for plenty of character development.

Honestly those fans can’t possibly be a fan of “The Walking Dead” then, where they spent half a season with same story and same location (Sophia and the Farm).

Had to share this from tvbythenumbers.com

“Two cable shows return tonight with their second season premieres, HBO’s Game of Thrones and AMC’s The Killing.  The worldview of television defined by the sliver that comprises the TV digerati (or at least the Twitterati) can be summed up as follows:

  1. Game of Thrones is one of the best shows on television or…you’ve never seen it.
  2. Veena Sud, the producer behind The Killing, actually is the devil”

The Killing Season 2 Promo:

As for “Mad Men” im very far behind but watched last weeks episode and I feel that I know enough to continue watching for there. Im not a big fan of the show but I do enjoy watching it.

On the DVR tonight: ABC’s “Once Upon A Time”
