First off if you have missed this diamond of a show you are missing out on some very good and addicting tv.

The show premiered in August before ABC’s “Revenge” even took the air and it had instantly become my favorite new show. Since then I have compared the quality of the show and the sometimes dark revengeful characters to that of “Revenge” and honestly feel it could be airing right along side it.

Update: The Lying Game has been officially renewed for season 2!

Overview (From Wikipedia)

The series is about Emma (Alexandra Chando), a foster child who finds out she has an identical twin sister, Sutton (also played by Chando). The girls were separated at birth, with Sutton being adopted by wealthy parents and seemingly living an ideal life. Meeting prior to the pilot episode, Sutton talks Emma into stepping into her life for a few days while she pursues information about their birth mother in Los Angeles. Initially excited to do this favor for her sister, Emma soon learns that Sutton has many hidden secrets. Now Emma must continue to cover as Sutton continues her search for their birth mother. When Sutton reclaims her identity, Emma’s fate is unknown, as the twins, along with some of their closest friends, attempt to sort through the secrets of the people around them. By the end of the series, Alec is arrested for the murder of Derrick Rogers, and Sutton and Emma are “Rebecca’s” twin daughters. It is also suggested that it is possible that Ted is Sutton and Emma’s biological father because he had an affair with Rebecca who is their biological mother.
