Aaron’s Top 15 Shows of the past decade

Posted: September 22, 2014 by Aaron M Zaffuto in Uncategorized

Time to revisit what shows lead to be a tv addict over the past decade. As Scott did my list is NOT in order of importance though my top three are most important to me, from there its random.

  1. Chuck Chuck
“Hi my name is Charles Bartowski, but you can call me Chuck. This is my life its filled with spies, car chases, computer stealing ninjas and me saving the day” That quote from the show sums it up the action, spy, comedy, drama all in one show. Lets not forget this blog dedicates a whole page to show.
  2. FlashForwardFlashForward“Lost” was coming to an end and ABC was looking for another hit to capture viewers. The story of a global blackout the causes the world to lose consciousness and see a vision of their futures six month ahead and the FBI agent trying to stop another one from happening. The series grabbed my attention right from the start asking the question “What would you do if you caught a glimpse of your future?”.
  3. Jericho
  4. 24
  5. Lost
  6. House
  7. Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
  8. 30 Rock
  9. The Office
  10. Burn Notice
  11. Community
  12. One Tree Hill
  13. Friday Night Lights
  14. Parks and Recreation
  15. Breaking Bad

And we’re back!!! Yeah I know finally.

My top 10 shows of the 2013-14 season (September- May)

    1. True Detective- HBO went all out with this unique series that stars Matthew McConaughey & Woody Harrelson two actors only know for big production movies delivered stellar performances in this MUST WATCH series. Check out the promo-
    2. Hannibal- Bryan Fuller known for pushing the limits of TV (Pushing Daisies) created stunning dark visuals that live up to all the old movies about Hannibal Lector. Season 2 just continues to get better despite it’s ratings struggles. Never too late to jump aboard the NBC series. Season 1 Promo-
    3. Da Vinci’s Demons- Created by David S. Goyer so of you know him from the short live ABC series “FlashForward”. It revolves around a  fictional account of Leonardo da Vinci’s early life and even fictional those who know history will see plenty of facts around the series. The show was just renewed for a 3rd season. Check out the Season 1 promo–
    4. Banshee– Set in the small town of Banshee, PA this action packed series revolves around an ex-con who assumes the identity of the killed sheriff of the town who tries to win back his former lover. Full of conspiracy and endless action. The show was just picked up for season 3. Season 1 promo–
    5. Suits– The USA network series continues to get better with every season. Its not your typical lawyer drama which is based around a extraordinarily smart lawyer who get hired by a big firm. The catch, he doesn’t have a law degree. The show will back for season 4 this summer. Season 1 promo–
    6. The 100– This new apocalyptic series centers on earth be unlivable or so they they think because of a nuclear apocalypse. Its now too late to jump in on the CW series still airing season 1. Promo–
    7. Grimm– While it didn’t grab my attention at first the show just keeps getting better.  Inspired by Grimms’ Fairy Tales the show will back for season 4 on NBC.Grimm
    8. Arrow- Based DC Comics character Green Arrow, the action series keeps getting better. A bright spot for The CW.
    9. Chicago Fire– Action, drama and fire of course. The show has just been improving  this season. It will back for season 3 on NBC. Season 1 promo–
    10. Parks and Recreation– The lovable comedy still shows its strength as it ages. It will back for season 7 on NBC. (if you follow me you know im obsessed with it)
