Review:

Tonight’s Season 2 Premiere Of Revenge Was Epic, As I Expected! In Tonight’s Episode, Emily Made Her Glorious Return To The Hampton’s, In An Attempt To Learn The Truth About Her Mother. Emily Slowly Tries To Get Close With The Graysons, Once Again, To Learn Information ,Regarding Her Mother. At The Beginning Of Tonight’s Premiere, Jack’s Boat Is Shown Being Found At The Bottom Of The Ocean, With A Body Inside. However, We Do Not Learn How This Event Happened, Nor Who The Person Inside Is. I Suspect That This Event, Much Like The One From The Season 1 Premiere, Will Be Fully Shown, About Halfway Through Season 2. In Tonight’s Episode, We Learn That Charlotte & Victoria Are In Fact Alive. We Learn That Victoria Is In Hiding, And Is Working On Something, With The White Haired Man. It’s Revealed That Conrad Is Trying To Gain Control Of Daniel And Charlotte’s Inheritance. I’ve Been A Fan Of Revenge, After Watching The Series Premiere. I Find That The Show Is Able To Mix: Drama, Conspiracy Mystery, Romance, Thrill, Crime, And Many Other Categories, Into A Neatly Wrapped One Hour Time-Slot. Overall, Revenge Is A Magnificent Show, And I Would Absolutely Recommend It. Watch Revenge Live: Sunday’s At 9/8C. On ABC.

Be Sure To Remember That Revenge Is No Longer On Wednesday At 10/9C. Time-Slot. This Season, Revenge Has Moved To Sunday’s At 9/8C.

“Absolution is a washing away of sin, a promise of rebirth and the chance to escape the transgressions of those who came before us. The best among us will learn from the mistakes of the past while the rest seem doomed repeat them. And then there are those who operate on the fringes of society unburdened by the confines of morality and conscience, a ruthless breed of monsters who’s deadliest weapon is there ability to hide in plain sight. If the people I’ve come to bring justice to can not be bound by the quest for absolution then neither will I”- Emily Thorne

– Final Thoughts (Please share your own in the comments)

I loved it and feel we have alot of story to digest just from the first episode back.

Also thanks to Scott who wrote alot of this post as we combined notes for this one since were both HUGE fans.

Next Week on Revenge:

Emily Thorne: “When I was a little my understanding of revenge was as simple as the Sunday school proverbs it hid behind. Neat little morality slogans, like ‘Do unto others’ and ‘Two wrongs don’t make a right.’ But two wrongs can never make a right because two wrongs can never equal each other. For the truly wronged real satisfaction can only be found in one of two places absolute forgiveness or mortal vindication. This is not a story about forgiveness.”

Yes “Revenge” is a favorite of both me and Scott. It has become my favorite new show of the season.

Lets briefly recap what has happened.

Overview:

Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) comes to the Hamptons for the summer, renting a home next to the Grayson family to enjoy a bright summer. However, it’s clear Emily has been to the Hamptons before as a little girl. In reality, Emily is Amanda Clarke, whose father was framed for a crime he didn’t commit and sent to prison for life. She was permanently separated from him and never saw him again. Now, she’s returned to the Hamptons, intent on getting revenge against those who wronged her and her father, the top of that list being Victoria Grayson(Madeleine Stowe), matriarch of the Grayson family and the woman whom her father loved and who, in the end, betrayed him.

As she sets her plan in motion, Emily tries to navigate the upper society to destroy those who betrayed her father. But the further she goes, the more her emotions get involved and the more she questions her motives and the moves she makes.
