Renewals:

The CW has officially renewed “Supernatural, “90210” and “The Vampire Diaries“- View the press release.

Burn offs:

The canceled CBS comedy “How To Be A Gentleman” a show you have probably long forgotten about or never heard of since CBS pulled the show from the line up after just 3 episodes with just awful ratings.

How To Be A Gentleman” will return to burn off the remaining episodes starting Saturday May 26th at 8pm ET.

New Pilots:

This one should worry any fans of AMC’s “The Killing” a show which had considerable backlash at the end of season 1 and its season 2 return yielded mediocre ratings considering the promotion that was done during “The Walking Dead”

AMC has ordered two new pilots which seem likely they COULD serve as relacments IF “The Killing” is canceled at the end of season 2.

“Low Winter Sun”:

A contemporary story of murder, deception, Revenge and corruption in a world where the line between cops and criminals is blurred.  The story begins with the murder of a cop by a fellow Detroit detective.  Seemingly the perfect crime, in reality the murder activates forces that will forever alter that detective’s life and pull him into the heart of the Detroit underworld.  The pilot is based on the 2006 two-part British mini-series written by Simon Donald and starring Mark Strong.  The original award-winning mini-series was produced by Tiger Aspect Productions (an Endemol Company). Chris Mundy (“Criminal Minds,” “Cold Case”) will serve as writer, executive producer and showrunner on the series.  Jeremy Gold, head of creative affairs for Endemol Studios, oversees the project with Greg Brenman, head of drama for Tiger Aspect. The project is represented by CAA.

“Untitled LaGravenese & Goldwyn Project”:

A legal thriller with major political, personal and ethical stakes. It centers on a District Attorney who uncovers new evidence that prompts the reinvestigation of a sensational murder case. The series is an exploration of personal morality and how people struggle with the shades of grey found in the absence of a simple, ordered moral universe. “Untitled LaGravenese & Goldwyn Project” is from writer and executive producer Richard LaGravenese (The Fisher King, Water for Elephants, The Ref, The Bridges of Madison County). Tony Goldwyn (“Justified,” “Damages,” “Dexter,” A Walk on the Moon) will serve as director and executive producer. Andrew Sugarman (Shopgirl, Conviction) will also be a co-executive producer.

Bent Season 1 Promo:

As some of you know I was a big fan of the show right from the start. I started watching back when it premiered on September 23rd, 2003 at that time I was only 13.  I watched 1-4 live but life and other shows got in the way of me being a regular viewer, but tonight I tune in to say goodbye to a show that started my tv obsession and accounts for 50% of my music library (Most songs I play daily).

I am also considering making a rewatch notes page for OTH just like im doing with “Chuck”.

The “One Tree Hill” 2 hour series finale kicks off tonight at 8/7c on The CW Network.
