Suits 2×03 “Meet the New Boss” 6/28/12

• Mike comes home to find his grandma there.
• Danial Hardman is back and tries to assure everyone his is back in a number two capacity.
• “Im just glad to have someone in the room who pisses you off more then I do”- Harvey to Jessica
• “I spent the night with my grandma”- Mike
• “Is she hot?”- Harvey
• Mike is too afraid to ask Rachel for case files, gets Donna to do it.
• “The name of this firm is Pearson Hardman you said yourself your number two I answer to number one.”- Harvey
• “No matter who you answer to you will lean to treat me with respect”- Danial Hardman
• “Fine I respect you but I don’t work for you and sure as hell don’t work with you”- Harvey
• Mike/Harvey are trying to settle a deal with a nurses union. There proposal is rejected.
• Jessica informs Louis that Harvard wants to reascend there on campus recruiting privileges due to how there associates are treated.
• “Jessica let me handle this”- Louis
• Rachel wants to sign up for a dating site. Donna offers to take her out for happy hour with Harvey’s corporate card.
• Harvey want to get an injunction to stop the strike.
• “Do you know what you don’t deserve the privilege of seeing me win”- Harvey to Mike
• Louis invited a representative from Harvard to see how joyful everyone is.
• “I want you to convince this women that Pearson Hardman makes you shit rainbows”- Louis to the Associates
• Hardman stepped into Harvey’s hearing and took over.
• “When im on a case the only thing there’s zero percent chance of is me loosing”- Harvey
• “Harvey I said I changed don’t mistake that change for weakness”- Hardman
• “I told you my names on the door, it didn’t get there by me taking shit from the likes of you”- Hardman
• “I just put an end to a situation our client can’t afford and those nurses can’t either, trust me they’ll cave.”- Harvey
• Hardman is concerned of Harvey’s actions.
• “They have an offer in front of them and they are going to sign it”- Harvey
• “You don’t know that because if either one of us picks up the phone right now will be the ones who caved and we might as well tell them they can have everything”- Hardman
• “Stop thinking like a rookie”- Harvey to Hardman
• Donna is out for drinks with Rachel.
• Rachel feel like just a lonely paralegal.
• “Your not at lonely paralegal tonight”- Donna
• Donna and Rachel lie about being different professions to attract guys. “Harriet Specter & Michelle Ross”
• Hardman meets privately with Mike. He respects they both had the same idea of dealing with the nurses.
• Hardman will use Mike as a back channel negotiator. Mike goes to see Ms. Soyer
• “They sent you which means there not serious about taking”- Ms. Soyer
• “Listen to me, you are on strike and they are never going to flinch so what harm is there in talking to me”- Mike
• Mike takes Ms. Soyer to meet his grandma who is in a nursing home. Ms. Soyer tells Mike how nurses have been working 15 hours shifts and staying later and not putting it on there time card since they wouldn’t get paid to care for there patients.
• The Harvard representative will allow Pearson Hardman to there recruiting privileges but she tells Louis his biggest problem is his associates don’t respect him and they think he doesn’t work as hard as they do and thinks he make them do his work.
• Mike tells Harvey the new that all the nurses want is enough staff so know one has to work a 15 hour shift again.
• Harvey speaks with Hardman.
• “He got a number but its not going to be final. We offer them 10 million the next day its going to be 15 we need to hold strong to get them to close”- Harvey
• “Says your gut and I don’t practice law based on your gut”- Hardman
• “Congratulations Danial we may be a couple of liars but only one of us is going to be responsible when this whole thing goes to shit”- Harvey
• Louis reveals to Harvey that he found out the associates don’t think he works as hard as they do.
• “Louis anyone who doesn’t think your the hardest working lawyer at this firm is an idiot. You may be a dick but as far as im concerned the associates have it pretty good”- Harvey
• “Louis im only going to say this once so you better enjoy it. Your the man”- Harvey
• Louis recorded it.  
• Rachel runs into Mike as he is getting files out of her office. Mike see she has match.com up on her computer.
• Mike helps her write up her profile.
• I becomes clear that Mike and Rachel are perfect for each other.
• Louis completed everyone’s assignments.
• “Let it be known that I can do your work faster and better then anyone of you without shedding a tear or breaking a sweat but I don’t because writing briefs and recommending arguments is how you learn”- Louis
• Jessica is present for Louis’s rally speech and seems impressed.
• Harvey finds a loophole that states if nurses work past there 15 hour shift and don’t sign time cards but sign charts it releases them from protection of federal labor law.
• Mike is mad that Harvey used information he got from his grandma against the nurses.
• “You think I was joking when I asked if you were ready to stick it to the nurses, I wasn’t. I know you don’t like this part of the job but its part of the job if Prescott gives into there demands they go out of business, the nurses get nothing its a win win.”- Harvey
• “That’s bullshit, its a win because you beat Danial”- Mike
• “It doesn’t take a genius to figure out your playing each other and your using me to do it”- Mike
• Mike storms off.
• Rachel shows up at mikes place.
• “You hurt me, all those nice things you said those are the kind of things you say when you…Look if you feel those thing about me why can’t you be with me??”- Rachel
• “If all of your feelings are still there then it only points to one thing, your keeping something from me”- Rachel
• “I don’t wanna lie to you”- Mike
• “Please just tell me what it is”- Rachel
• Mike seems dying to tell her but he can’t, she storms off and he goes after her.
• “I want to tell you but I can’t”- Mike
• “What could it possibly be?!”- Rachel
• “You don’t understand once I tell you I can never take it back this is my everything”- Mike
• Jessica tells Louis how impressed she was with his speech to the associates.
• Harvey sits down with Mike to tell him the truth about Hardman and how he doesn’t trust him but does trust Mike.
• Rachel is taking the bar exam.
• Mike goes to see his grandma who tells him “Your young you don’t have any real problems”
• “Im making way too much money and I don’t have a girlfriend to spend it on”- Mike

Final Thoughts

Suits continues to be the best lawyer show on tv making everything else look like garbage. Im am dying to see to how the Mike/Rachel relationship plays out this season.
